TODAY IN CLASS
1. Went over some of the further implications of the fast-paced events at the end of the play (the T-chart, #21 on the Act V questions).

2. Brief discussion of cha.cha.com.  Just DON'T.

3. Some discussion of the new questions for Wednesday's written portion--more on that tomorrow in 3rd (and briefly in 4/6).

Homework for ALL classes--tonight and tomorrow night, be gathering your thoughts for questions 2-6 on today's hand-out.  Question #1 will be important too, but it won't be a writing choice on Wednesday.  For the others, you don't need to have specific quotes (you won't be able to use any notes on Wednesday, but you DO need to have an idea of what's important/what you would want to say in response to these.  You'll be given a choice of TWO, again chosen from questions #2-6.

FOR TOMORROW
4th and 6th periods:  Objective test over all 5 acts of Hamlet.

ON WEDNESDAY
All sections will have written section with two sections:
1) a paraphrase of a passage that you will be given in class (a careful paraphrase into modern Standard English, not a summary, not a slang-style "cut to the chase" flippant response).
2) An extended paragraph (maybe two) on one of two choices that you will be given from the questions distributed today.

THURSDAY
3rd period:  the objective section
