Note that on that day, some of you will be taking the SAT here at school, and some of you will be at home until 6th period. You are officially told by school administration that this is time to work on culminating projects (though this year you should be done with that), college applications, or other homework.
Here are SLIGHTLY revised instructions: the final draft of your essay is STILL due to www.turnitin.com no later than Wednesday evening at 11:59 p.m. However, you may turn the hard copy of your essay in on Thursday, Oct. 17.
Special note to 6th period: attendance is expected/per school schedule. I will still accept your hard copy on Thursday to keep you "equal" with your peers, but it probably ought to be done by 6th period!
FRIDAY IN CLASS
Nearly up to Beowulf's first meeting with Hrothgar in all classes. We've been stalled on the reading up to p. 30 for a couple of days. We're about to release the brakes and move forward now!
No new reading for Monday though.
