TODAY IN CLASS
I am always amazed at the creativity so many of you come up with for projects of this sort. Most of you seemed to find good ways to take advantage of different strengths among your peers, and the ideas were clever, the propaganda techniques pretty well covered, and your ability to seek out wonderful graphics is pretty amazing. There were several that I wish everyone could see.
It took longer, though, because I always underestimate the time it takes each group to save (important) and set up--even for those who were certainly prepared to go.
So 3rd period was the only class that managed to have enough time to do the rest of the 1984 test. In part , though, that was because one group was missing the person with the flash drive! Ideally you'd have had 25 minutes, I think most of you were able to write what you knew in the 20 or so you had.
TOMORROW, therefore--
3rd period will have the final presentation, and move on to the next step.
4th--Presentations are complete; you'll finish the quiz.
6th--Will have to be very efficient. The last group on the board today, please start setting up as soon as you get to class. Then there's one more group. Then the test. It will work.
