TODAY IN CLASS
We finished the Nun, though not quite completely in 6th.
Students received another graphic organizer sheet. But if you were absent, use the same information categories as we used for the Yeoman and the Nun and write the homework on your own paper.
FOR TOMORROW
Access the online textbook and read the Monk's description carefully (just reading this had actually been week-end homework in 3rd and 4th, but not in 6th). But now, everyone read carefully, all the way through, twice.
Then start filling in the worksheet. You should have enough material IN the passage to understand the behavior and focus expected of a proper monk. Fill out the categories with the appropriate material.
These will be collected as you walk in the door on Tuesday--no time (zero, none) to finish up in class.
